About Siri Shabad Singh
Siri Shabad Singh began to learn Hatha Yoga at the age of 15 with Swami Yogananda Saraswati in Paris. He continued his yoga journey with the teaching of Swami Satchitananda, also practising Irano-Egyptian Yoga with Master Lambert, ZaZen with Zen Master Taisen Deshimaru and started his Kundalini Yoga practice with Guru Hans Singh Khalsa in 1977, still in Paris.
Moving to India, he was initiated by Bhagwan Shree Rasjnesh and lived in Poona for 5 years next to his Master, going through many groups, meditation camps and satsangs.
Back to France, he lived at the Kundalini Yoga Ashram in Bordeaux and trained as Kundalini Yoga Instructor with Guru Ram Singh & Kaur, and Karta Singh. He had his first White Tantric experience and personal contact with Yogi Bhajan in 1982.
In 1983, Yogi Bhajan offered him to join his Los Angeles’ ashram to study next to him. Back from the USA, Siri Shabd Singh opened successively 3 Kundalini Yoga schools in different cities before moving in 1992 with his wife Siri Shabad Kaur and their son to London to serve the Sikh community.
He translated various Kundalini Yoga manuals and teachings to French, including the Nit Nem, the Guru Sikh hymns recited daily by the Sikhs.
In 1995, he opened his 4th Kundalini Yoga school, trained as Polarity therapist from 1995 until 1998 and after qualifying as RPP he opened his first holistic health practice in London.
In 2004, he relocated his family and practice in Cyprus and initiated the “One Sun One Soul Healing Celebration” festival with Francesca Pinoni & Heleniq Argyrou.
He qualified as Medical Doctor (Alternative Medicine) in 2008 and since then, shares his time between his Cyprus detox retreat and Asia where he continues to teach Kundalini Yoga in Thailand and Malaysia. He also composes and produces music for the Kundalini Yoga mantras as chanting is a most important key to survive as nation and individual.
